Suji/Rava dhokla ....in just 2 minutes
Soft and spongy suji dhokla dressed up with spicy tempering and coriander leaves ready to impress everyone on the table is a perfect tea time snack made in microwave.

Needs no fermentation
No soaking
No grinding
Ingredients -
Suji : 2 tbsp
Little Sour Curd : 1 tbsp
Water : 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder to taste
Ginger : 1/2 tsp grated ((optional)
Green chilli paste : 1/2 tsp (optional)
Sugar : 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice : 1/2 tsp
Baking soda : 1/2 tsp
For tempering :
Oil : 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp
Green chilli : 1 cut lengthwise
Sugar : a pinch
Lemon juice : 1/2 tbsp
Water : 1/4 cup or 5-6 tbsp
For garnishing on top :
Coriander leaves : 1 tbsp chopped
Method :
1. Grease a microwave safe small bowl or cup. Keep aside.
2. In a bowl mix suji, curd and water. Mix well.
3. Now add salt, red chilli powder. Mix well. Add ginger, green chilli paste and sugar. Mix well.Add lemon juice, mix. Add baking soda, mix.
4. Pour it in greased micro safe bowl or cup.
5. Pop it in microwave, press 2 minute and then start.
6. For tempering - Take oil in a pan. Heat it on high flame. Slow the flame and add oil, mustard seeds let it sizzle for a min. Add green chilli let it fry till golden it will take a min. Add sugar mix with a spoon. Switch off the flame. Add lemon juice, mix. Add water, mix. Keep aside.
7. Switch off the microwave. Take it out. Let it cool a bit. Transfer it to a serving plate (or if you want to eat it in a cup let it remain in it). Pour tempering on it.
8. Suji dhokla is ready to serve.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with green chutney.
