Goan Paneer Vindaloo
Quick tips -
1. Adjust spices to taste.
Ingredients
White vinegar - 1/4 tbsp
Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
Garlic grated 2 tbsp
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Onion chopped - 1
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Paneer cubes - 250 Gram
2 capsicum chopped
Method -
1. Add red chilli flakes & grated garlic in a bowl.
2. Soak red chilli flakes & grated garlic in vinegar for 2 hrs.
3. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and let it fry gor a second.
4. Add sugar and caramelise it a little.
5. Add onion and fry till light golden.
6. Now, add chilli flakes garlic vinegar mixture.
7. Mix well.
8. Add tomato puree and mix.
9. Add the red chilli powder, salt, cinnamon powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder.
10. Cover and cook untill the tomato puree is properly cooked. If needed then add a small cup of water and let the masala blend together.
11. Add capsicum.
12. Add paneer cubes. Mix well.
13. Cover and cook on flow flame for few minutes.
14. Cook untill the masala is properly coated on paneer and capsicum. Switch off the flame.
15. Hot spicy delicious 'Paneer Vindaloo' is ready for serving.
