Mooli ki sabzi/ Radish sabzi
Quick recipe tips -
1. Adjust spices to taste.
Ingredients -
1 kg radish chopped
3 tbsp mustard oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp carom seeds/ ajwain
To taste salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
4 tbsp water
Method -
1. Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds, carom seeds and let it splutter. Add chopped radish and fry on medium flame.
2. Keep cooking on medium flame till radish turns golden and half cooked. Keep stirring in-between.
3. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix on slow flame.
4. Add water and mix on slow flame.
5. Cook on slow flame for 2-3 minute.
6. Cover and cook on slow flame till radish is properly cooked. Keep stirring in-between.
7. Radish is properly cooked. Switch off the flame.
8. Add coriander leaves.
9. Radish sabzi is ready.
10. Serve hot as a side dish.
