 Jaggery turmeric ginger bites 


Jaggery turmeric ginger bites an easy, quick and perfect winter treat for immunity boost in kids and adults. It is a no cook recipe especially for chilly weather to protect ourselves from a sore throat, cold, cough and flu. These Jaggery turmeric ginger bites are good to eat 2 times a day : 1st in the morning and 2nd before sleeping.


Quick recipe tips -

1. Use unsalted melted butter.

3. For vegan recipe use vegan butter.

4. Use any nut of your choice.

5. Instead of powdered jaggery grated gur can be used.

6. Instead of chopped almonds... Powdered almonds can be used.

7. While kneading the dough do not add water. Add more butter if required.

8. Keep these balls in air tight container.

9. Stays good for 2 week at room temperature.


Ingredients -

1/3 cup powdered jaggery

1 tbsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp dry ginger powder/ sonth powder

1 tsp cardamom powder

1 tbsp chopped almonds

1 tbsp kharbooja magaz

1 tbsp dry rose petals

2-3 tbsp melted butter 

Method with step photos  - 

1. In a mixing bowl add powdered jaggery, turmeric powder, dry ginger powder, cardamom powder, almonds, kharbooja magaz, dry rose petals. Mix everything well.


2. Add melted butter 1 tbsp at a time and mix.


3. Bind it together. 


4. Dough is ready.


5. Make small balls from the dough. Keep aside for few hours to set.


6. Jaggery turmeric ginger bites are ready. Serve with a glass of hot milk.
