Rava ladoo
Rava ladoo is a popular Indian sweet which is made mostly during festivals. These ladoos are delicious and mouthmelting with a little crunchy texture. It is an easy, quick and tasty recipe prepared by sauteing rava, coconut powder and nuts. After sauteing it is mixed with sugar syrup and then bind together to make ladoos.
Ingredients -
2 tbsp almond
2 tbsp cashew
1 tsp + 1 tsp water
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup suji/ rava
1/4 cup coconut powder
For syrup -
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Method -
1. Take almond in small bowl and add 1 tsp water. Mix and keep aside for 1 hour.
2. Take cashews in small bowl and add 1 tsp water. Mix and keep aside for 1 hour.
3. After 1 hour slice almond and cashews with chips cutter. Keep aside.
4. Heat butter in wok on slow flame. Fry sliced almonds and cashews till light golden in slow flame. Take it out on the plate and keep aside till use.
5. In same wok add rava and fry till golden. Add coconut powder and fry for few second on slow. Switch off the flame and let it cool.
6. For syrup - boil sugar, water and cardamom powder in a bowl. Boil till one string consistency. Switch off the flame. Syrup is ready.
7. Add almonds and cashews in rava mixture. Add syrup and mix well.
8. Make medium size ladoos. Place in a plate and serve with a glass of warm milk.

3. Slice all the almonds and cashews. Keep aside till use.

10. Add syrup and mix well.
11. Make medium size ladoos.
12. Make all the ladoos from the mixture and place in a plate.
13. Rava ladoo are ready.
14. Store it in an air tight container and keep in the fridge.
