 Quinoa oil free vegetable patties 


Quinoa oil free vegetable patties are healthy, delicious, vegan, plant based and gluten free recipe. This simple and quick recipe is packed with mixed vegetables, flavourful seasonings and protein rich quinoa flour.

Quick recipe tip -

1. Add veggies according to your choice.

2. Incase 'quinoa' is not pre-rinsed then rinse quinoa with water and sun-dry it completely. Then dry roast it in a wok. Let it cool. Grind it. Powder quinoa/ quinoa flour is ready.

3. Incase the quinoa is pre-rinsed then dry roast it. Cool it. Grind it. Quinoa flour is ready.


Ingredients -

1 cup quinoa four

1 carrot grated

1 cucumber grated

1 capsicum finely chopped

1 onion finely chopped

1/2 cup sweet corns

4 tbsp coriander leaves chopped

1 tsp ginger grated

1 green chilli grated

To taste salt

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 tsp ajwain

3 boiled potatoes 

Method - 

1. Take all the chopped and grated veggies in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, ajwain. Add quinoa flour and mix.

2. Add boiled potatoes and knead it to a dough. Take warm water in a small bowl. Wet your fingers and take a small ball from the dough. Place it on the foil.

3. Pat the dough ball with wet fingers in the shape of patties. 

4. Heat non stick tawa on slow flame. Place pattie on it. Pat lightly with wet fingers on the patties.

5. Cook on slow flame until the bottom side is golden. Flip the side. Cook both sides till golden and crisp.

6. Quinoa oil free vegetable patties are ready. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot with coriander chutney.


Method with step photos -

3. Add quinoa flour, 2 boiled potato and mix.


4. Add boiled potatoes and knead it to a dough.


5. Knead it to a soft dough.


6. Take warm water in a small bowl. Wet your fingers and take a small ball from the dough. Place it on the foil.


7. Pat the dough ball with wet fingers in the shape of  round patties.


8. Heat non stick tawa on slow flame. Place patties on it. 


9. 
Pat lightly with wet fingers on the patties.


10. 
Cook on slow flame for few minutes then on medium flame until the bottom side is golden and crisp. Flip the side. 


11. 
Cook both sides till golden and crisp.


12. 
Quinoa oil free vegetable patties are ready.


13. Transfer to a serving plate.


14. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
