Turmeric tea/ Golden tea
Recipe tips -
1. Honey is optional but adding honey makes the drink tastier and healthier.
2. Added fresh grated ginger instead ginger powder can also be added.
3. Best to drink it early morning empty stomach.
4. This spiced tea is a good immunity booster and it keeps your body healthy.
Ingredients -
2 cup water
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1 almond finely chopped
Method -
1. In a pan add water, grated ginger, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder.
2. Bring water to boil. Then slow the flame and let it simmer for 3 minutes. Switch off the flame.
3. Add lemon juice and honey in cup and strain the tea. sprinkle chopped almond on top. Turmeric tea is ready.
4. Serve hot.
