Oats paratha

 Oats paratha 


Mouth melting oats paratha is a healthy and nutritious paratha. Oats paratha is a gluten free, vegan paratha which is high in protein and has a low calorie count which helps in losing weight. 

.

Quick recipe tip -

1. Adjust spices according to taste.

2. For oats powder - dry roast oats in a wok. Let it cool completely. Grind it to a fine powder.

3. Instead of sesame oil any cooking oil can be used. 


Ingredients -

1 cup oats powder

2 tbsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp salt

2 boiled potatoes 

1 onion chopped (small size)

1/2 cup coriander leaves

As needed water

1 tsp sesame oil 


Method -

1. In a bowl add oats powder, potatoes, onion, onion, coriander leaves, 2 tbsp sesame oil, salt. Mix well. 


2. Mix well to a crumbly texture. 


3. Add water little by little and knead it to a smooth dough. Rub a tsp of oil on the dough. Cover and keep aside till use. 


4. Take a small ball from the dough. Dust it with flour. 


5. Roll it with rolling pin.


6. Heat tawa on high flame. Slow the flame and place rolled paratha on tawa. 


7. Cook for 2-3 minute then change the side. 


8. Spread oil on both sides and cook till golden and crispy.


9. Oats parathas are ready. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot.
