Bread pizza disc
Bread pizza disc is quick, simple, easy and eye catching appetizer. It is prepared with bread slices cut in rounds and filled with pizza toppings. It can be served in breakfast or can be eaten as an evening snack.
Makes : 8 disc
For base :
Brown / White Bread : 16 pc (8 for base & 8 for top)
Oil : as needed
Ingredients for filling :
Onion : 1 chopped
Tomato : 1 chopped
Capsicum : 1 chopped
Coriander leaves : 4 tbsp chopped
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder to taste
Oregano : 2 tbsp
Mozarrella cheese : 3/4 cup grated
For spreading on the base :
Tomato ketchup as needed
Pudina chtaka as needed
Method :
1. In a bowl mix onion, tomato, capsicum, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder, oregano and 2 tbsp mozarella cheese.
2. Filling is ready. Keep aside.
3. Take a round small bowl and cut all the bread slices in round shape.
4. Take 8 slices and again cut each of them with a very small round bowl or glass.
5. Keep the outer ring and keep away the inner ring of these slices. (inner rings can be used in any other recipe).
6. Now place the round slices on the plate.
7. Spread tomato ketchup on some slices and pudina chtaka on some.
8. Place the outer rings on each slice covered with ketchup and chtaka.
9. Bread disc is ready.
10. Now fill the centre of each disc with the onion tomato filling.
11. Spread mozarella cheese on top of each disc.
12. Pre heat oven to 250*C for 5 minutes.
13. Grease the oven proof tray.
14. Place the ready discs on the tray.
15. Coat all the sides of the discs with oil.
16. Place the tray in the oven on the middle rack.
17. Bake for 15-20 minutes or till all the discs turn golden and crispy.
18. Transfer these discs on the serving plate.
19. Bread pizza disc is ready to serve.
